Commodore Trail Master Plan Improvements
Coming Soon To Your Neighborhood!
The City of Miami, along with Miami Dade County, the City of Coral Gables and the Friends of the Commodore Trail, is working in the design of the master plan to improve the Commodore Trail, a five-mile-long trail that provides non-motorized connectivity to bicycles and pedestrians to a beautiful corridor for fitness and enjoyment.
The Commodore Trail provides South to North neighborhood connectivity, connecting the Commodore Trail bike route 1 from Old Cutler Trail in S. Coral Gables to the South, throughout Coconut Grove and Brickell to the Rickenbacker Causeway Trail, to the North. Trail enhancements will include protective bikeway, pedestrian walkway, street trees, landscaping, street furniture, lighting, wayfinding and artistic features.
