Join us for the screening of Gather!
Our 2nd Dirty Movies Night features GATHER. GATHER is a way of supporting tribes and Native communities as they build sustainable foodways that improve health, strengthen food security and increase control over Native agriculture and food systems.
Join us and explore the power of food and community to heal our environment and society. In the three films featured, we will learn how agriculture can fight climate change, the importance of reconnecting food pathways for indigenous tribes and how we can all hold corporations accountable for degrading the environment. Films will be screened in Tahoe Food Hub's warehouse. 75 chairs will be provided. We will be pouring beer and wine thanks to Good Wolf Brewing and Truckee River Winery. We are welcoming local food vendors like Apres Pop and Tahoe Truckee S'more company!
