Staying at home is not always a safety measure for survivors of domestic violence.

During this unprecedented time of COVID-19, survivors impacted by domestic violence are at greater risk while they are confined to their homes with abusers. The added financial stress, isolation and uncertainty have only exacerbated an already difficult situation. Over 90% of ATASK clients are under the poverty line, speak limited English and face multiple barriers in accessing help. Through the generosity of our caring community, ATASK continues to adapt and respond to the needs of our clients as the ongoing health crisis continues to unfold.
