COVID-Related Eviction Prevention Funding Available


Beginning Wednesday, May 1st, the online portal will open for funding for eviction prevention, in addition to appointments. To apply online or obtain an in-person appointment, clients must comply with the following:

* Must have children age 5 and under in the household or a disabled individual, or a senior household
* Must have not received rental assistance of any kind in the last 12 months
* Must have not met the benefit limits of 18 months or $25,000
* Must have a crisis (unexpected increase in expenses or loss of income) that is provable with documentation (must upload proof of crisis in the application)

Get Help with Utility Assistance


Funding for LIHEAP HVAC Replacement program and Home Energy Assistance (credit) is depleted. Application submission for both assistance categories is now closed.

Please be advised that the electric bill assistance portal will open on a very limited basis, on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 10 am. Your household will have to be a client of Florida Power & Light and have not received “Care to Share” assistance within the last 12 months.
