The last time anyone was able to offer public comment on the 90-unit, 3+acre Sherman Park workforce housing project was a year ago on April 26, 2023. The project has changed significantly, and many interim steps of the process (like design review approval) have been approved by the City Council outside of what I consider a typical public hearing process.

At long last, another hearing is scheduled for April 24th to review the critically important Development Agreement for this highly complex public-private venture involving $2.2M of public parkland and over $350K in waived city permitting fees. Yet, as I write this, the hearing documents will not be available for public review until April 18th, which is after the public comment period has closed.
