Join our tribe of Solution Advocates!

CPAW NJ has many exciting and flexible volunteer opportunities.  We let you choose tasks that fit your particular interests.  And have fun and help save lives while doing it!

As kitten season is in full swing, we are educating folks about what to do when they find a kitten, attending outreach events where we need folks to help with the table and lead some kids’ activities, and also to help with social media, both fb and Instagram.  All creative skills are needed and all ideas are welcome about how to find those who need help with indoor cats as well as outdoor cats.  You could even learn about how we humanely trap, neuter and return outdoor cats to help reduce the outdoor population and save lives.

We also have some business operations opportunities, like event planning, data input and analysis, and website redesign.  Find out the behind the scenes needs of a new startup business!

Provide meals for cats

Buy some pet food and drop it off at the Human Needs Food Pantry, 9 Label Street. Both wet and dry cat food are needed; no expired food, please.

We give thanks from the bottom of our furry hearts for those folks who in the past hosted food bins for us to collect food for the communities we serve. Our efforts to provide food to help people keep their pets continues – Donate here.
We have worked this summer with Bloomfield Pet Valu, Alley Cat Allies, and Corrado’s Pet Markets to get food to local food pantries, including the Human Needs Food Pantry of Montclair.  The need is greater than ever.  Help however you can.

Join CPAW NJ Collaborative Effort

CPAW NJ’s mission is helping people helping cats. Rather than building a building or managing our own
operations, we hope to connect people already caring for community cats and leading the tnvr efforts so that we can learn together and support each other with ideas, help, and resources.

If you are an individual or a group doing TNR and/or feeding cats and would like to be part of a collaborative, solution-oriented group, please contact us.
