Graduating Sisters' Blessing

Women in ministry have come a long way, but they still face many challenges. At Central Seminary we have a tradition of sending our graduating women on their new journeys with words of wisdom and blessing from those who have gone before them - sometimes paving the way for these who will follow. Each graduating sister will receive liturgical ribbons which they will wear the next day at the Commencement ceremony. If you are an alum and have your ribbons from when you graduated, wear them to this blessing ceremony in solidarity with these new graduates.

This event is also a good time to hear words of encouragement about ministry whether you are new to it or have been in ministry for more years than you can remember. Come share this time of sisterhood.
